Steamfitters Local 601 is seeking experienced HVAC-Refrigeration/Service Technicians. If you have prior HVAC-Refrigeration/Service experience and a desire to take your career to the next level, Advanced HVAC Service training could be right for you! The demand for HVAC-Refrigeration/Service Technicians with up-to-date skills has never been higher and has created additional career opportunities for individuals who possess these skills.. The Advanced HVAC Service training offers focused, performance-based training designed to fill any gaps in knowledge or skillsets from prior years of industry experience and prepares you for success in the HVAC-Refrigeration/Service business. Trainees learn the trade through structured training opportunities while working.
  • No cost HVAC/Service Instruction (Techniques, Skillsets, Theory & Fundamentals)
      • Individuals will gain the skills to perform service, maintenance, and repair work within the manufacturing and construction industries
  • On-the-Job Training (Applied Education)

Who Can Apply?

Minimum Requirements:
  1. High School Transcript or equivalent
  2. Valid Driver’s License
  3. Prior HVAC service experience within the last three years
Required Competencies:
  1. Demonstrate a commitment to safety
  2. Strong basic math and communication skills
  3. Ability and desire to continually learn
  4. Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail
