exciting, hands-on career in the piping industry, becoming a union Steamfitter is the
right choice for you. This is an opportunity to earn what your skillsets are truly

security. All you need is motivation, be reliable, and ready to grow as a tradesperson.
Candidates learn the trade through three structured training opportunities:
- Unpaid 80 Hour Accelerated Fitter Program Special Project Training (Fundamentals & Culture)
- On-the-Job Training (Applied Education)
- Night School Education at no cost with minimal charges for books (Theory & Fundamentals)
How to Become an Accelerated Fitter Trainee
Application process:- APPLY – Fill out the application form below and submit your resume. Once your information is received and reviewed, our Organizing and Marketing Representative will contact you.
- PASS – Take and pass Aptitude Testing and 80 hour Accelerated Fitter Program Special Project Training.
- SIGN – Sign an Accelerated Fitter Program Trainee Education Agreement.
Who Can Apply?
Minimum Requirements:- 5 years of Trade or Manufacturing work experience
- Pass Aptitude Testing
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Be drug free
- Must attend and pass the unpaid 80 hour Accelerated Fitter Program Special Project Training
